It's Almost time...

FOR CHRISTMAS!!!

I love Christmas as much as the next person. But I must confess...I have taken a minimalist approach to Christmas this year...
  • no tree (due to tiny busy hands)
  • little shopping (I spent one Saturday afternoon buying some gifts, I made a big list, moved quickly, and was done!)
  • only ONE Christmas party.
  • a few Christmas cards (only to out of towners). I still have a couple left to send out.
I truly had grand plans to live it up this December, but I got a little off kilter when I came down with a bad case of poison ivy. Plus, Stephen Grande has been super busy with work (in a good way). Despite staying very low key we have enjoyed the season. I think I've even enjoyed it more without the hustle and bustle. I know we will have some intense Christmas seasons in years to come as Stephen Small gets older. This year we celebrated mostly by just changing up our daily routines and doing some special things here and there.

We have...

gone out to dinner
had out of town company
made coffee in the afternoon coffee
watched movies
ordered take out
taken pictures
eaten m&m's
gone to church
played the guitar
& talked about the year to come in 2010!

Just a few festive photos....enjoy!

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;
he is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:11

Hope you all have a WONDERFUL holiday!
See ya next year!

Thanks again for having your out-of-town guests!! It definitely made our holidays fantastic. We love coming to see you guys.
We'll be back in on the 26th for Lee Family Christmas. Couldn't remember if yall are going to be traveling then, so if we don't see ya', thank you again, and have a happy New Year's!
