The Muffin Man

We had a fun/crazy/kid-filled/slide show watching/grilled pimento cheese sandwich eating kind of weekend visiting the Grande's side of the family in Auburn. Every year his mom and dad organize a gathering complete with their 5 children, 2 son-in-laws, 1 lovely daughter-in-law, and 7 grandchildren.

Stephen Small experienced pure JOY as he rough housed with some of his cousins in the baby pool. The other highlight of his weekend was hogging a toy truck that sings "Do you know the muffin man?" when you honk the horn.

It was fun. Lots of fun.

It got rowdy.

Georgia, the only female cousin participating in the baby pool, was very brave to partake of these waters. She's one tough little cookie, probably thanks to having two older brothers.

Just look at them...

We are all RELATED...

and this picture is not everybody

and there are more coming, as in they have not been born yet....

and two of Stephen Grande's siblings aren't even married (because they aren't old enough).

Eventually we will have to have family reunions in which we make t-shirts and wear name tags.

Here's to the large times that keep on getting larger!
And thank you to my sister-in-law, Anne, who gave up her room for us.
And thank you to Gary and Jill for having us all!
And thank you to the muffin man for entertaining a select few of us (under the age of 2).

So fun! Inspired me to sing a very silly "muffin man" rendition to J. I think he enjoyed it.

I love seeing SS's unbridled joy (and his determination to hold his own in the pool). Looks like a great weekend.
