Tiny Turkey Burgers

These turkey burgers are so good and different. A nice change from your regular ol hamburger (even though I love a hamburger). I made them last night for dinner and was not disappointed in the least!

Mix up...
3 lbs ground turkey
1 cup plain bread crumbs
2 beaten eggs
1/2 red onion diced
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning to taste

*3 lbs makes A LOT of tiny turkey burgers, so half the recipe if you wish.
And don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Give it a real good mixin.
I like to make all my patties roughly the same size, so I use a 1/3 c. measuring cup and then form the patty. Mine are mini burgers, but feel free to adjust them to your liking and bun size.

Then throw them on the grill until they are cooked all the way through. You don't want a medium rare turkey burger. Use your best grilling judgment.
Finally, slap it on a wheat roll with a little honey mustard, avocado, tomato and slices of Monterey Jack cheese. A perfect summer meal.

YUM! Those look delicious! I am going to make them soon. Very convenient that the cheese is already IN the burger. I like that.
