We had a fine weekend ourselves, but I must confess I was in a major funk at the end of last week. Just a bad mood, no reason. THANK GOODNESS I'm over it!!! And I can now recommend with confidence the best cure for a sour mood. There are two things 1) going a long walks and 2) cleaning your house. It took some motivation (that was hard to conjure up), but those two things definitely did the trick! By Easter morning I had pep in my step again.

Captain Steve and his buddies spent the afternoon on the river in his new boat, affectionately named "Dumb Head". Our house looks like a marina by the way.

Please don't hate me for making something so cute. I'm really proud of it, no humility in my heart.

It looks like y'all had a wonderful Easter; how fun that you and Lucy both live in Montgomery!! All of your new sewing projects are fabulous - how did you get started? I want to learn how to sew, but I have to make it through nursing school first {May can't be here soon enough}!
