My Niece Lucy

This is my 4 year old niece, Lucy. She has the most delightful personality. I've had the privilege of spending some quality time with her this summer. One fun conversation we had while on a family trip at the lake was about how she wanted to be a nurse. I told her that I am a nurse and I take care of mamas and babies in the hospital. She thought that was pretty neat and went on to say..."I want to be a nurse.... because I like blood."

Could there be a more honest or better reason to become a nurse?

I don't think so.

I wish I was posting about her only to tell you that cute story, but unfortunately I'm asking for your prayers for Lucy. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year. She had successful neurosurgery in January; All the tumor was removed. Unfortunately, the tumor has recurred. Please pray for Lucy and her family as they seek further treatment.
